You met them here first: Maudie Hamilton, Matthew Berger, Anderson Oliver, Tobias Shaw, Andrew Rigby, Sr. and Alexander Rigby (Leo's brothers)

A Race With a Rogue

Maudie Hamilton and Cooper Truxton (1908)

Where you've met them: Maudie is Georgia's best friend. Cooper is Georgia's older brother.

You met them here first: Victoria Harper, Cathleen Rigby, Emmeline Truxton

Notable reappearances: Georgia and Leo are expecting. Maudie's old suitor Tobias Shaw runs against Cooper for a seat in the state legislature. Matthew Berger helps manage Cooper's campaign.

Don't Ask Me Again

Victoria Harper and Matthew Berger (1917)

Where you've met them: Victoria was Maudie's college roommate. Matthew has been friends with Cooper since childhood. They were both part of Cooper's political campaign in A Race With a Rogue and had an on-off relationship for several years after the events of that book.

You met them here first: Frances Kendall, Nick Carraker, Malcolm Bowden, Harry Kurz, Ingrid Russell.

Notable reappearances: Maudie and Cooper just cannot stop meddling.

Once Again and Always

Frances Kendall and Nicholas Carraker (1918)

Where you've met them: Frances is Victoria's housemate in Amiens. Nick is an army surgeon at the hospital where Frances and Victoria work (also where Matthew was treated).

Notable reappearances: Ingrid Russell is Frances' trainee nurse. Malcolm Bowden is Nick's boss, Harry Kurz assists with a little light espionage, and Andrew Rigby, Sr. is a medical miracle.

All Interested Parties

Cathleen Rigby and Trip Holloway (1931)

Where you've met them: Cathleen is born at the end of A Race With a Rogue. She is Leo and Georgia's daughter. Trip is a journalist from Detroit, Michigan, who recently relocated to Raleigh.

You met them here first: Christopher, Henry, and Iris Rigby

Notable Reappearances: Anderson Oliver visits with Georgia and Leo. Emmeline Truxton and her parents arrive for the epilogue.

A Matter of Some Urgency

Emmeline Truxton and Andrew Rigby, Jr. (1934)

Where you've met them: Emmeline is introduced in the epilogue of A Race With a Rogue. She is Maudie and Cooper's daughter. Andrew is Leo Rigby's nephew. His father, Andrew Sr., appears briefly in How to Measure a Man and more extensively in Once Again and Always.

You met them here first: Leopold Truxton, Calvin Truxton

Notable reappearances: Alexander Rigby is in charge of some family business with Leo. Matthew Berger is now a judge, and Frances Kendall has some news for Andrew.
